Brunch at Keven Cafe

Keven Cafe at Heng Shan Lu
  • serving International food
  • open till 2am, so its a good place for supper and drinks
Beijing Olympics Time table

drinking Bios Life Complete before food!

Nasi Goreng with chicken satay

Nasi is fried rice and it was cold and hard.. bad!
I was disappointed how the egg looks,
the shape was not round,
looks like a fried egg done by someone who just learned cooking, not a cook.

Salad
quite ok but I hope the veg can be more fresh and sweet
Chicken sandwich with salad and fries

overall very good except that the cheese in sandwich were very salty
which made the last few bites too difficult to continue.
The fries were crispy and nice.

checking out the maps before setting off

packing and ready to go!

Overall comment:

  • easy to find location
  • restaurant environment cosy
  • staffs were friendly but need to call for service
  • western food is good but too salty
  • don't try other international food like Nasi Goreng
  • eager to try outdoor sitings during winter... bet its a good chill out place for afternoon tea or night drinks

Leadership & Management of Change

Attended this workshop from 15-16 July 2008 held by China Europe International Business School

My takeaway for this course
1) analyse Jack Welch from GE - his success story.
2)communication skill varies from different people - we DON't knoe what we dont know!
3) STOP building bridges!

on 19 July, I invited some friends and colleagues to my housewarming party.
Lilian helped me cooked some snacks like chicken curry, fried bee hoon and other finger food.
so it was food, drinks and laughters! and photos too!

the photos below were from Terry, see how he went around the house taking photos, even on food and drinks.
